| We are currently looking to fill a Parts Counter Position.
Job Description / Essential Functions
Greets and handles over-the-counter customers in friendly manner. Gives first Priority to over-the-counter customers, telephone provided second priority.
Suggests other items to customers to ensure they are given an opportunity to purchase all items they require.
Assist in handling telephone inquires when parts phone clerk is unable.
Handle requests for parts from service department.
Check in and recieve parts and accessories shipments.
Match and staple purchase order and bill of lading and forward to Parts Manager.
Stock items recieved.
Notify customers of receipt of special orders by phone. If not picked up within 5 buisness days, notify customer via postcard. If not picked up within 5 more buisness days notify Parts Manager.
Box and ship special orders to customers.
Abide by all dealership policies pertaining to the department including general housekeeping.
Follow company dress codes and be well groomed at all times.
Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole.
Do Inventory.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all other employees.
Non-Essential Functions
Prefer some computer literacy
Prefer interest or experience in motorsports industry.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Solid communications skills.
